Who we are

Information we collect

• Enquiry details you submit: parent name, WhatsApp number, optional email address, the child's grade, curriculum, subject, main learning challenge and preferred class timings.
• Class-related information created while we teach: attendance, lesson notes, practice work and progress observations.
• Basic technical information from your visit, such as the page you submitted an enquiry from and your browser type, used to detect failed submissions and keep the site working.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and match your child with a suitable tutor.
• To schedule classes, share practice materials and send monthly parent progress notes.
• To send you service messages about your child's classes, and only the updates you have asked for.
• To improve our teaching materials and the reliability of our website.

Children's information

We do not ask children to create accounts or submit enquiries. All enquiries and class arrangements are made by a parent or guardian. We do not ask a child for their home address, identification documents or financial details, and we never sell information about a child.

Sharing

• With the tutor assigned to your child, limited to what they need in order to teach effectively.
• With service providers who host our website, database and email delivery, under their own confidentiality obligations.
• Where we are required to do so by law, or where sharing is necessary to protect a child from harm.
• We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Storage and security

Enquiry and class records are stored in access-controlled systems. Access to our internal lead dashboard is restricted to authorised Lumivo staff accounts protected by multi-factor authentication.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into classes are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up if you contact us again. Records for enrolled students are kept while the student is with us and for a reasonable period afterwards for academic reference, then deleted.

Your choices

• You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you or your child.
• You can ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
• You can ask us to delete your enquiry or your child's records, subject to any records we must keep.
• You can ask us to stop sending non-essential messages at any time.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small amount of browser storage to remember your language choice and whether you dismissed a notice. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages parents find useful. This is never used to build advertising profiles of children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell enrolled families directly if the change is significant.
